Foto Friday

Foto (Photo) Friday is a show and tell of pics from the past week.  I did not do any posts last week except for the few reviews that were due.  It was a busy week.  With working out 5 days a week and P turning 5 I had other things on my mind.  I am going to do a recap of the past two weeks in pictures.  I will do a separate post for P turning 5 and all of the pics included.

  • P was so happy to get to hold her cousin while watching S play soccer.  It only lasted for a second but the picture makes it look like they sat like that for a while.
  • P has been begging to paint my toe nails for quite some time.  So the first day we had nice weather I let her.  It was a hot mess but she had a blast doing it.

  • P sits like this most days watching to see if May is home from work yet.  Sometimes she will bring her toys over with her so she can play with them but still keep checking out the window.
  • S had family fun night at school.  P had a blast playing all the carnival games and going on the inflatables.

  • My Mother’s Day presents.  S made me a card and a Recipe for a Loving Mom.  P made me a handprint she painted and a cute card in class.
  • We had A and Baby L over for dinner last week.  The kids had so much fun having dinner together and they all ate like champs. (Not usually the case.  Usually one will not eat well or not like what they are eating.)

  • I made a hair appointment for last Thursday on P’s birthday.  It just happen to be when she had a cancellation.  I didn’t know if I was going to cut my hair all off for sure until the moment I sat in the chair.  I was looking to get 10-12″ off which would have put my hair at just below my shoulders.  When I measured the hair when I got home it was just over 13″ at the longest part.  I have never had hair this short before in my entire life (well since I was 3).  It still feels weird to brush, wash, or even touch it.

  • S got to hold his cousin, Blue, for the first time at P’s party.  He asked if he could hold him.  He really likes holding babies lately.
  • A really is P’s best friend.  The two of them can argue with each other but in the end they always work it out.  I hope it always stays like this.
  • P had her last day of preschool on Friday.  She picked out a fancy dress to wear for her preschool graduation.  I let her pick her hairdo, too.  She was so excited to go.

  •  P picked out these little rose plants to give to her teachers.  I thought they were perfect to give as end of the year thank you gifts to the teachers.
  • P was so happy to wear her letter vest for her “Alphabet Fashion Show” at school.  She was O and she picked out obviously oranges, but also onions, Olaf, ocean, ornaments (Christmas), and more.  We even glued different orange crayons, and markers on the front of it.

  • P was so excited when she got her cap on that she couldn’t stop waving and dancing up at the front of the church, hence the blurry hands in the picture.
  • Of course, we had to get a picture with her to celebrate the graduation!

  • P has been counting the days and years down to when she could have gum.  When she was younger we told her she could have it when she turned 5, well she held me to it and has asked for a piece of gum everyday since.  She is allowed one piece of gum a day but the first time she pulls it out of her mouth or does not throw it away in the trash can she loses it until she turns 6.  She only chews it for about 5 minutes and then wants to throw it out. (She usually spits it in the trash so she doesn’t touch it with her fingers!)  Saturday she was eating a tootsie roll and couldn’t figure out how to swallow it because she could not get past the fact that it was like chewing gum.  She finally did, but it took her a few minutes and some bravery to do so.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
