Foto (Photo) Friday is a show and tell of pics from the past week. This past week was filled with princesses, school cancellations, and Valentine’s Day parties.
- I really wanted to see the ice break free up at the dam in Grand Rapids. We were lucky enough to see it four years ago. Last week it was still completely ice, this week it had already broke free. We did get to see some icebergs go over the dam. One was the size of a VW bug. P and S had a blast throwing chunks of ice into the dam. All that behind P is huge chunks of ice that ran up onto the shore and are stuck until they melt.
- Sunday morning P and I got up super early (I am going to try to do a separate post) to go and see Disney princess. The served breakfast and let me tell you P was in heaven when she saw what it was….donuts, ice cream, and juice boxes. I let her have my donut too, and then just ate a few bites of it. Breakfast of Champions!!!
- P finally got to meet Snow White. She was excited and shy at the same time.
- P also got to meet Tiana. She was so excited that she was wearing the green dress and not the blue dress.
- Of course when we got to Elsa and Anna she opened up and wouldn’t stop talking. P loved that the blue snowflake gems we put in her hair were the same ones in Elsa’s hair.
- Both kiddos did Valentine’s for their classes. I was so happy to see P write her name on each Valentine and it was legible. S also had legible writing but it took him 3 times longer than P to write his name. Why is that?
