Foto Friday

Foto (Photo) Friday is a show and tell of pics from the past week.  It was a week filled with Christmas prep, Christmas party prep, and Christmas stuff!

  • S turned 7 on Sunday.  I still cannot believe that it has been 7 years since I became a mom.  P loved the party and was all about partying.  Even though she didn’t really understand what was going to happen at a party.  She had on her party pigtails, shirt and shoes and made sure everyone saw them.
  • We made ornaments over at May’s house.  P had a blast cutting them out and painting them.  She was not a happy camper when she had to be done.  I cannot wait to see how they turn out.  If you notice to the right of her right hand she stuck a stick in the middle of one of her ornaments.  Yeah, she is a little crazy.

  • I cannot explain why P likes to put this swim cap on but she does.  She puts it on all by herself and wears it around the house.  This is her new “Baby Elsa” doll that I got for $.50.  It is actually Cinderella but she doesn’t know the difference.  She carries this little baby around with her all over the place.   When we go to stores, on walks, everything.  I gave it to her in hopes to entice her to go on the potty.  I have a Belle and told her if she goes on the potty she can get “Baby Anna.”  It has been almost a week and she will not go for it.
  • Dada didn’t look to happy playing dress-up with P, but P was so happy to be dressing Dada up.

  • I have wanted to do this for a long time but never had the opportunity.  I made goody bags for everyone in S’s class.  All the girls got a Lego Friends build and a pack of Lip Smackers lip gloss and nail polish.  The boys got a Lego Chima build and a Hot Wheels car.  I made it really easy when passing them out but putting all the boys in the blue bags, and the girls in the multi-colored bags.
  • S’s school party was Grinch” themed.  The kids made really cute mask at one of their stations.  They had so much fun and I really liked helping out with the party.

  • At my station the kids decorated Grinch cookies.  I made a ton of frosting and put them in individual frosting bags so it would be easy to put on the cookies and not cross contaminate anything between the kids.
  • There was so much frosting left over that we decorated all of our cookies Thursday night.  P loved every minute of it and actually did a really good job.  She ended up decorating more cookies than S did.

  • Here are all of our cookies when we were done.  Mine are on the top and bottom left, S’s are in the middle and P’s are to the right.
  • When S was two I made a reindeer print with his hands and foot and wanted to do the same with P.  She did great and listened to everything I told her to do.  It turned out great and we put a little hairbow on the antler so we could tell it was a girl!

  • Dash loves to be around us at weird times.  When I got home from the school holiday party this is what I walked into.  Dash falling off the back of the seat that B was sitting in while he was on the computer.  She stuck it and managed to stay on the back of the chair.
  • S let me blow his hair dry before bed and I really wanted to dry it spiking it.  He hates when we spike it but we love it.  He would rather have it smoothed down.  As you can see by his face he did not like the outcome nearly as much as I did.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
