Lunch Box

Next year S will start eating lunches at school and he has said he is not eating school lunches.  I told him he is eating school lunches because I want him to try new foods and I think this is the only way it is going to happen.  He has stalled at eating new foods at home so I am hoping school will start it back up again.  He says he will pack his own lunch.  Yeah I can see it being fruit snacks, yogurt, and a juice box.  We agreed that he can have a packed lunch for school as long as B packs his lunches, because I hate packing lunches.  Unbeknownst to B, that he is going to have to make the packed lunches.

Since S wants to pack lunches I thought this would be perfect for the picky eater.  With three individual compartments and a small container with a lid for dips this has S written all over it.  He is not one of those kids that will eat traditional lunches.  Sure he will eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich once in a while, but no way will he do that every day.  So he can have quesadilla (yes he will eat it when it is not warm), but he has to have pizza sauce to dip.  We don’t eat chips that often, so bags of chips will not work for lunches.  Instead he can have fruit and some other little snack.  With the container being leak-proof I don’t have to worry about any leaks in his backpack.

S is so excited to try this lunch box and has asked for dry runs at home.  I will pack these lunches but really they are not going anywhere.  I love that this is dishwasher safe so I can toss it in the dishwasher at night so it will be clean for the next morning.  With the free carrying case, I can easily include utensils in the exterior bag for the food inside.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
