Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week.  Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

Starting 02/24/2020

This Week-I am still taking my time getting back to exercising.  I know I owe a long blog post explaining everything and I will when I can.  At thing point, I am going to work on getting back to posting on a daily basis.  I hope I can become consistent in it again but you never know.  I do, however, post on Instagram, so you can always follow me there to find out what I have been up to.

Monday-I am going to the gym first thing in the morning.  The kids have school, and I may run to a few stores checking out Valentine clearance.

Tuesday-Working out in the morning, and then no other plans the rest of the day.

Wednesday-I have my 6 week check-up with the doctor.  It is just shy of 6 weeks, but close enough.

Thursday-The kids have school and we have the Brantley Gilbert concert in the evening.

Friday-After school I am taking the kids to watch the dodgeball tournament at the junior high.  I am taking A, L, and Little B with me, too, so they can watch their mom play with the other teachers.  It was pretty funny to watch last year.

Saturday-Today is my true wedding anniversary.  We have been married for 16 years now, together for 19.  It seems crazy it has been that long, it surely doesn’t feel like it.

Sunday-No plans at home, just hanging out at home.

Last Week Recap-I did go to the gym to workout Tuesday-Friday.  I did 3 of the regular workout with a little modification.

Monday-Today was President’s Day and the kids didn’t have school.  I was supposed to have an eye doctor appointment.  It got cancelled but I still took the time to myself and went shopping at Target.  I found a few things for P on clearance that she will love.

Tuesday-I had a doctor appointment in the morning and then hung out at home the rest of the day.  The kids had homework to do when they got home from school.

Wednesday-Target Valentine went 90% clearance much to my surprise.  I left once I saw it on Brickseek.com and there was no one at my store shopping.  I got the entire Valentine clearance section all to myself to take my time and really look through.  I only went to 2 of the 4 Targets.  After school P had Girl Scouts.  I went to help out.  She really does love going to Girl Scouts.

Thursday-After working out in the morning I stayed and cleaned the gym.  It is going through a bit of remodel so it was really dusty.  I did some serious sweeping and mopping and was there for over 4 hours, 14,000 steps and 5 miles of walking.  Surprisingly, I did not crash when I got home.

Friday-I met other mom’s at Little Caesars Pizza to sell Girls Scout cookies for our Daisy troop.  B brought P up after she got off the bus.  She was only too happy to participate and wore a cookie costume.  She asked every person picking up pizza if they wanted to buy a box of cookies.  When they said they didn’t have any money, she bit right back at them and said, “We take credit cards, you have one of those.”  (Not asking them if they have one, pretty much making a statement like everyone has one.)  By the time we were done I was a frozen popsicle.  P was warm because she had the cookie costume on the whole time (2 hours).

Saturday-B took S to math camp at HPI (Hull Prairie Intermediary).  Afterward S went to his cousins to spend the night.  P went to the neighbors and had a sleepover.  She was so excited that is all she could talk about in the morning.  B and I went to the Garth Brooks concert in Detroit.  We had to leave early because of the crowd.  We went with another couple and had a great time.  It did take almost an hour to get out of the parking garage.  We literally were in the same spot for 40 minutes before we started to move. I got quite a few rosaries done while we were waiting.

Sunday-B got up in the morning and got both kids.  They were cranky and tired when they came home so it was a chill morning of hanging out and watching Frozen 2.  It was nice outside in the high 50s so the kids played outside in the afternoon.

We missed the Daisy Girl Scout Cookie sale so if you have any extra you want to sell, let us know to help out Piper.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
