Soltol Heart and Letter Silicone Molds Review

Cocoa Bombs were all the rage this past Christmas season and even for Valentine’s Day.  When I saw these heart molds, I thought they would be perfect to try to make bombs with.  Although it is the wrong time of year, I decided to give it a try.  I made P and S  their own heart and just filled it with old sprinkles that needed thrown out.  The heart molds were actually really easy to get the chocolate out of.  Not one of them cracked when I was removing them.  While the samples I was making were just tests they were easy to melt one side and secure it to the other half of a heart.

I took the silicone letter mold and decided to use is to spell out “Happy 7 Birthday Piper.”  Because we did a rainbow theme for her birthday cakes, I did the letters in rainbow colors.  It was hard to get all the air bubbles our of each letter to ensure that all the corners were filled in.  To get the letters out of the mold were super easy.

The molds were easy to wash.  I simply put them in the dishwasher and let it do the rest.  After they were completely dry, I put them away with the rest of my cake decorating supplies.
