Sinocare Digital Thermometer Review

With everything going on right now in the world and with so much uncertainty I thought carrying around a thermometer with us for the “just in case” moments would be a good thing.  Plus, when the kiddos were babies, I always had one of these in the diaper bag in case they were to get sick.  A little thermometer like this is perfect for using at home or travel.  It comes with a clear carrying case so I can easily spot it in my bag and not have to worry about it getting broken or accidentally turned on draining the battery.

The Sinocare Digital Thermometer can measure your temperature oral, armpit, or rectal.  Since it can be used different ways it works great for babies, children, or adults.  I tried to take my temperature with it in my armpit and orally.  I got two different temperatures and nowhere in the instructions did it tell me to add or subtract a degree based on where the temperature was taken.  As far as using it, it was pretty simple.  Push the button to turn it on, place the thermometer where you are measuring the temperature and wait for it to beep 3 times to let you know it is complete.  I used a heating blanket to raise the temperature to a fever level and when it is done if the temperature is over 100.5° the thermometer will beep continuously to alert you to a fever.  The instructions did say for best results to take the temperature rectally but I was not going to do that to test it.
