Shy Swan Kabuki Foundation Brush Review

Disclaimer:  I received this product for free or highly discounted in exchange for an honest review.  All thoughts and opinions expressed are mine.

I am a minimalist when it comes to wearing make-up.  Seriously I use loose face powder, blush, mascara, and eye shadow.  It takes me less then 5 minutes to do my make-up but if I can get it done in less time I am all for it.  I don’t want to take 30 minutes to do my make-up to make it look like I am not wearing any make-up.  Seriously what is the point, I don’t need to contour my cheekbones, highlight my brow bone or make my nose look skinnier.  It is what it is.

So for me to review make-up is not really my thing but I was willing to try this brush.  I used the brush to apply my loose powder.  It went on surprisingly smooth.  I didn’t have areas that had powder on it that had not been rubbed in.  When I was done I wanted to see just how much powder the make-up brush put on my face so I used a make-up wipe and took it all off.  I know seems silly to put it on just to take it off but I had to know.  I also checked the brush and tried to see how much of the powder was left in the bristles and it didn’t leave anything on the tissue when I tried to get any powder out of the brush.

The brush bristles were super soft.  I would never have know it was bristles and would have thought it was a sponge by the feel of it.  The brush came with a case to store it in so I don’t have to worry about getting any loose powder on my other things or the brush getting dirty.
