I was given the opportunity to try another scratch paper craft set and was happy to do it. I got some back at Easter which were fun to help us decorate the house, and P got some for her birthday. Finally, I got some that I could try myself and not have to share. (Yet, anyways.) I took the four sheets of stencils provided and tried to make a Fourth of July themed sheet. I used the hot air balloon, the kite, kite tail, confetti and streamers from the celebration. I used the streamers and confetti to create my best attempt at fireworks, I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I used the entire 5” x 7” to make my little picture. What I didn’t take into account when making it is that when I put it in the paper frames that came with it the size of the picture that you could see was only 3” x 5”. Next time I try to make a picture and plan to put it in one of the frames I will put it in the frame first and outline the opening so I keep the picture inside the frame.
