I love to wear thick comfy socks in the winter (really anytime my feet are cold). The thicker the bottom of the athletic sock the better. I want to feel like I am walking around on cotton clouds. I found these socks and could not believe how thick and soft they are on the bottom. They really do add a nice soft padding when I am walking around.
The only drawback of the socks is the ankle/calf part of it. It doesn’t feel like it is made of strong elastic and I fear that they will stretch out and not hold their shape. I need my socks to stay in place. When they start to slip and fall down, I end my relationship with them immediately! No, seriously it drives me crazy and I hate wearing socks that I have to keep pulling back up when they slouch down.
