When S and P were younger (well I still do for P if I can find a shirt) I always bought them a birthday shirt that either said, “It’s my birthday,” or “One.” I always thought it was fun to have them wear a special shirt when they went to school on their birthday. It also really helps when looking back at pictures to figure out what year the birthday picture is from. I loved these cute tops for little girls. While I am not a fan of pink for girls there are other options for a different color.

The first birthday is always something special and what a great way to remember it. I love the ruffle ends of the sleeves. I would consider the sleeves to be short sleeve so it would work for summer birthdays. The onesie comes in 3 sizes (6-12 months, 12-18 months, and 18-24 months) and in 3 different colors (pink and mustard yellow). While I definitely would prefer the yellow for my own kids most would probably want the pink. Shalofer Baby Girl One Year Old Long-Sleeve Onesie
This is a great onesie for a first birthday in the cooler weather. It is long-sleeve and still has a ruffle on the sleeve to make it fun. This onesie also comes with a headband. The onesie comes in 3 sizes (6-12 months, 12-18 months, and 18-24 months and in 3 different colors (black, pink, and white). On this I would probably get the white because I am not a fan of pink and black would show any dog or cat hair the baby got on them. Shalofer Baby Girl Second Year Old Ruffle Sleeve Shirt
If you did the number shirt for the first birthday you have to do it for the second. If you didn’t do the first you for sure have to do the second. I love that this is a shirt and not a onesie. For those lucky moms and dads that have a child turning two and already potty trained this works. This is just like the short-sleeve ruffle onesie but just a shirt. This shirt comes in 2 sizes (2T & 3T) and three different colors (black, pink, and white). I actually love the black one for a second birthday which is the exact opposite of what I would want for a first birthday. Maybe because they would be walking at two and crawling at one.
