Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc. Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:

  • S had a great time at the parade on Saturday.  He is so good at saying hi to all of the people in the parade to get candy and always says, “Thank you.”
  • Fashion Police on E!, Monday night was good.  I have to say that I totally did not like that they picked Christina Hendricks for Best Dressed!!!  What?? My fashion must be way off!  I do happen to agree with their Worst Dressed, Zosia Mamet, so no problems there.

  • I happen to turn on the TV yesterday for the noon news and S was talking on the phone with B when they interrupted to bring breaking news.  The streets around BP Refinery (where B works) were closed to a gas leak (not liquid like from a gas tank, but air the kind you can’t see or smell).  When I had S give me the phone B said yeah they made everyone go inside the pods (blast proof building) and sent all contractors home.  I am not overly concerned when I hear this because I know that it is par for the course, but how crazy is that?
  • S was sitting in his Handy Manny chair (an outdoor plastic chair) in the living room and rocking in it.  The next thing I know he falls forward and smacks his cheek on the edge of his train table.  Instant black eye, lots of howling and crying.

  • I was able to cook the pears last night and freeze them for S’s smoothies.  To me that is crazy and wild that I was able to get that done.  I didn’t start until after 6 pm and wasn’t finished until long after S went to bed.  (I think I finished around 10 pm?)
  • I cannot believe I have waited almost 5 months to get my haircut.  I am going on Friday and let’s say no amount of hair things, dos, or products (Fine Featherheads) are going to make it look okay at this point.  The ends are just done and need to be trimmed off.  Nothing drastic is going to happen, I am just looking for some healthy hair again.  Has anyone tried Fine Featherheads products?  I have always been curious, but never tried them.
  • The Tigers did not make it into the playoffs last night, yet.  In order for them to make it they had to win and the Indians had to lose.  If the Tigers lose or Indians win we do not clinch a playoff spot, just yet.

Disclosure: This post is brought to you today by Fine Featherheads.  All thoughts and opinions are all mine.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
