Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.
Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:
- I got S’s 8 year pictures done this past weekend. I have always had him hold a number every year for one of the pictures and when we went to do it this year at JCPenney’s Portrait Studio they had done away with the numbers. They actually threw them out. They are trying to reduce the number of props and do overlays on the pictures. Of course the pictures with overlays cost a ton more.
- Dinky has actually been doing pretty good with no accidents in the house. She still has them but it is a lot less frequent, maybe once every 3 or 4 days. It’s baby steps so I will take it.
- I still cannot believe how much P loves to play with Play Doh. She plays with it almost daily. Some days she will spend hours playing. Today is was only an hour. I mean how often can you say your child played quietly for an hour. Yesterday it was over 2 hours. She just sits there and pretends with the Play Doh. I am amazed and sometime will just sit and watch her.
- The kids made clay snowmen today at May’s. For the first time, P did not destroy her clay. Usually she pokes holes through it and you cannot tell what it was supposed to be. This time I knew it was a snowman. Amazing how much she has grown.
- B tried making cheeseburgers in the air fryer tonight. It blew the cheese right off the meat. They cooked properly but were a little dryer than if they are cooked in a frying pan. Pretty much the juices seemed to have disappeared. We probably won’t do that again, but the steaks we cooked a few weeks ago were good.
