Wild Wednesday

Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.

Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:

  • Last night P and I were walking over to Grandma G’s through the neighbors backyard to save some time before S had is parent/teacher conference, well Dash had other plans and followed us.  I ended up picking her up and we had to drive back home and drop her off before we went to the conferences.  She has never done that before.  She will try to follow us on walks and we have to put her in the house but she has never followed me into the neighbor’s backyard.  Now that she knows how to get to Grandma G’s I have a feeling I am going to be getting phone calls saying she is over at their house visiting.

  • P took a nap yesterday.  That was the first time she slept for me in the past week (she napped for Grandma G on Saturday but that doesn’t count for me) and I enjoyed every minute of it.

  • I managed to get through all of the clothes the kids have grown out of this week.  I also got them out the door yesterday (most).  I have a little bit that I need to get to my sister otherwise it is done.
  • Dinky has done pretty good the past few days with not going potty in the house.  Maybe we are turning a corner?  Only time will tell.
  • The weather has totally changed.  I had to bust out the winter coats yesterday.  I didn’t put the lining in S’s winter coat and he told me he was chilly at recess and he would like the lining and a hat for school today.
  • The toy catalogs for the holiday season are already coming out.  We got two this week in the mail.  The kids both went through them but I was pretty disappointed with the toys in the catalogs.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
