Wild Wednesday

Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.

Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:

  • P is obsessed with watching Disney movies. I cannot believe that she can sit and watch the entire movie at her age.

  • Dash is still on her antibiotics and is getting very good at refusing to swallow the pill that is when I can pry her mouth open. She clamps it closed like an alligator and it is so hard to get her to open it.  Dogs are way easier to give pills too!
  • I started watching a new TV series, The Fall, on Netflix. It is weird, hard to follow, and yet I cannot stop watching it.

  • This week we tried to plan our dinners ahead of time. As of last night we had so much food leftover that we ate leftovers last night and probably will again tonight.  So two meals that we planned for didn’t get made and will end up either wasting half the leftovers or wasting the planned meals that can’t be frozen.  Damned if you do, damned if you don’t!
  • I really don’t think we are doing any Black Friday shopping. This may be a first for us.  B tends to decide at the last minute to run out on Thursday nights. So plans may change but I doubt it.
  • We went to see Santa last night at Bass Pro. P was so excited she kept saying, “HO, HO,” and running around.  She could not stop herself from dancing and screaming in excitement.  When it came time for her to go up and see Santa she hid behind B and me.  We finally coerced her to go up to him it took S to help.  She did end up sitting on Santa’s lap but she looked petrified and refused to smile.  She did tell Santa ‘Thank you,’ and ‘Bye’ before she walked away.  After she was done she kept asking to go back and see more.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
