Wild Wednesday

Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.

Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:

  • I figured out how to make a how to make a 3D hot air balloon out of paper and am going to attempt to do it out of cookie.  I have no idea if it will work, but I am going to give it my best effort.
  • Mother’s Day is this weekend.  I feel like it is a week earlier than normal this year.  Usually we have our first farmer’s market the Thursday before Mother’s Day.  The vendors can usually make a killing because everyone buys flowers for their moms.  I was just excited for all the other goodies.  I guess I am going to have to wait another week!
  • It was 65° yesterday and S played outside from the time he got off the bus till about 5:15, so an hour and 15 minutes.  Sure enough his arms got burnt.  How is that even possible?  He never sat still and was moving all over but still he got weird burn marks on his arms.
  • This crazy cat of ours we have had for two weeks and it still has no name!  It crawled under my blanket when I was typing this.  Not so weird, until she climbed up on my shoulders and proceeded to sleep there.  What a strange place for her to fall asleep.
  • Yesterday we were outside and if the cat is not with us she will cry super loud until someone gets her, she can see us, or until she realizes we are gone.  I heard the cat and the next thing I knew she was scaling the screen door.  She started at the bottom and would climb up to the top and either jump down from there or climb back down.  It was funny to watch.  She plucked the screen with her nails and never made one tear or hole in the screen.  You couldn’t tell she had been climbing on the screen to get high enough to see us in the backyard.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
