Wild Wednesday

Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.

Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:

  • I would love to be able to type nothing has really happened in the past week, but with a 3 year old, husband who works crazy shift, 2 dogs and a cat, something is always going on.
  • I know I have commented before on this, but Barkbox sent us doggie beer called Bowser Beer.  It is of course, non-alcoholic, but crazy.  Who had this crazy idea and is now making a ton of money from it?  The sad part, the dogs loved drinking it and would drink more if I had it.
  • S is going to Splash Week at our local YMCA which is a free swim class that last one week offered to anyone over 6 months.  This is S’s first time going, but he loves it.  He has only gone twice so far, but comes home and shows me what he learned in class in our little above ground pool.  I want to say, I know what you learned, who do you think was in the pool with you!  I don’t and just keep telling him awesome giving him his favorite a thumbs up!

  • A few weeks ago Baby Blues (Sunday comics) was about trying to find a teeter-totter (seesaw) at local playgrounds and how they no longer exist.  I totally agree with this and also noticed a long time ago how they were disappearing.  Well today we went to my niece’s softball game in a small town a stone’s throw away and what do you know, they had teeter-totters at their playground.  I hate to say it, but we have one in our backyard so S is a seasoned veteran when it comes to using it, but I was really excited.  I had my other niece who is 8 years old hold S and I got on the other side so we could teeter-totter somewhat closer to equal weights.  I still outweighed them by quite a bit, but it worked.  I love teeter-totters.  No I don’t have a picture thank goodness, how embarrassing!

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
