Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.
Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:
- B took S on Saturday morning to the Home Depot build so I decided to take advantage of the time and go for a bike ride. So I put my tennis shoes on went. When I got back to my street I could continue on for a few more miles or call it a day. Since riding to the library and back is about 5 miles I figured I could do that and maybe a little more. When I got to my street I was only at about 4 miles. So I kept on going, and at 6 ½ miles I took a little break on the side of the road because I thought I was going to die. I even text B to see where he was hoping he could come and pick me up. How sad is that? He did not reply to my text so I went on and worked my way back home. When I got back to my house I was just over 8 miles. I know that is not very far, but I am not in shape. I realized that when I ride to the library and then home I take a small break to find new books for S or go to a storytime. Maybe the distance is not the problem; I just need to take 5 minute breaks to catch my breath. Who knows?
- Deadliest Catch was crazy last night. A guy gets injured and has a crushed hand, tendons and broken arm. How did he get this, not by crab fishing, by setting off fireworks. I guess that is why you should not play with fireworks unless you are a professional. It was so gross you could actually see the bones in his hand sticking out.
- Prettiest Little Liars had a recap last night for their summer season to start next week. I love this show and cannot wait. I read the entire series and the show has definitely veered from the books, but I think for the better. Great writers on the show!
