After seeing how great my last set of chalk markers worked on black paper I thought I would try them on black foam spiders I got to decorate outside.  S and I were looking at different kinds of decorations we could do outside that would not get ruined when it rained.  Every Pinterest board I looked at said craft foam could withstand the weather.

I started decorating the foam spiders with the Vellostar Liquid Chalk Markers so they would stand out on the tree.  I started decorating purple foam spiders I had and the chalk marker seem to just absorb right into the foam and fade to almost nothing.  I figured out that with some colors I needed to go over the color two or three times.  I did all different kinds of patterns on the spiders.  Whatever I felt like.  I even made a plaid spider.

S and I hung spiders from the tree and attached some directly to the branches.  It looks like spiders are crawling all over the tree.  It really made great decorations for this plain tree.  The spiders have been through a few days of rain and none of them have ran or bled.  It looks like the spiders and the chalk markers can withstand the weather.
