I love the fall season. It is my favorite and with fall comes apples. I love to make pie, any kind. Of all the different flavors of pie I make the only one I actually eat is apple. I also cut each of the kids an apple a day for lunch. The easiest way to cut them is by using an apple slicer. I also have to slice about 50-75 apples to make enough applesauce to last until the next year. So we buy a ton of apples.
I can only cut so many apples until my knuckles start to hurt from hitting the counter every time I cut an apple. With my old slicer I couldn’t get all the way through the apple because there wasn’t enough room. With the new Trendy Cooks Premium Apple Slicer it works great. The handles are higher up so when I cut the apple my hands never touch the counter. The stainless steel blades went right through the apple without hesitation. I cannot wait till we get our bushel of apples so I can cut them for cooking with no problems. Hopefully this year I save my knuckles.
