Thursday Treats

Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.

  • P and I may run to a different Target today to check out toy clearance.  It is if I can convince her to go!
  • It is Day 4 of working out and I am still sticking with it.  I am ready to quit but have not.  Granted I can barely walk and forget about bending down.
  • I am getting climbing wall holds to review and am excited to add those to S and P’s play area.

  • Today P and I are doing Snow Day at a local library.  They are making snowmen, having snowball play and more.  I have no idea what this all entails but it is inside so at least we won’t be cold playing in the “snow.”
  • P has now officially given up her booster seat.  She is sitting like a big girl (rather kneeling) in a chair to eat.  When we went out to eat last week this was the first time she did not sit in some type of booster seat.

  • P is still asking for a bottle in the morning but will now drink from the sippy cup in bed without complaining.  It is a step in the right direction.  Next on the list…potty training!
  • It was like Christmas in the house on Tuesday.  We got 5 different packages from UPS.  B and I sat in the living room with packages all over and were opening them together.
  • I love being able to play with the neighbor’s kids especially Baby L and she loves me.  I can hold her, take her from her mom, and she doesn’t cry.  It is always a good feeling when kids will do that and they are not your own!

  • I ordered myself a new pair of tennis shoes.  I cannot wait till they get here.  Maybe they will help me workout better.  I can hope for it, right?

What good things have you been treated to you this week?

Although I do Thursday Treats, it is pretty similar to Jen at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom‘s Thursday Thoughts, so I am linking up with her today.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
