Sunday Social

I am linking-up today with Ashley at http://www.ashleylately.com/ and Neely at http://www.acompletewasteofmakeup.com/ for Sunday Social.

Favorite Thanksgiving Memory

We used to rent a hall and the whole family would go there.  Growing up our families were pretty combined so it was easy to have both sides all go to a hall and spend Thanksgiving together.  The great part was there was no having to clean before the big day and no big clean-up afterwards.  Since there were so many of us there was so much food to choose from and lots of games afterward.  I loved it!

Favorite Thanksgiving Food

I love B’s Aunts rolls.  They are my favorite and I cannot get enough of them.  I will have a few with dinner and then when everyone is done eating I will finish them off.  I look forward to them all year long.  Sometimes I get lucky and she makes them for Christmas and Easter.

What is a Thanksgiving Tradition you and your family have?

We don’t really have one tradition that we have carried on since I was little.  Things are always changing.  Since S was born we have gone to someone’s house for Thanksgiving and S has never eaten anything made for Thanksgiving.  The first year he was eating baby food and the closest I could get was pureed sweet potatoes.  When he was almost two it was pizza.  He ate pizza while the rest of us ate the regulars.  Last year he had a fruity bar (Nutri Grain bar) and a turkey cupcake. He likes the inside of pumpkin pie but hates the crust and will not eat the inside and leave the crust.  So I make him “Pumpkin Pudding” the inside of pumpkin pie crustless in a dish and S loves to eat that.  Do not add Cool Whip to it though.  If you do he will not touch it.

What are you most looking forward to about this Thanksgiving?

I don’t really have one thing I look forward too.  I think it will be fun to watch S with all of his cousins, Aunts, and Uncle.  I am sure he will do something to try and be the center of attention.  I am pretty sure the three of us (B, S, and me) will leave and head out to the Black Friday sales (which I have already started scouring the ads and writing list).

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
