I cannot believe how strong these bag clips are.  I thought these would be good to put on food that I want a tight seal or good closure on after it has been opened.  These work great for chip bags.  I was going to use a few of these on S’s toy bags and decided not to because of how strong they actually are.  I clipped one on my finger for 10 seconds so see what would happen.  It left grooves in my finger and hurt.  There is no way I would use these on anything that S would be using.

I also cannot use this clip to close a flour bag because the bag is made of paper and this clip would tear right through the paper bag.  I plan on either using them for chip clips, or let B use them in the garage, shed, or outside.  These clips can be used indoor or outdoor because of the stainless steel construction.  If I use them outside it can be without the fear of rust or wear and tear.  The clips have extra strength due to the serrated gripping jaws.  The serrations are strong without being too sharp.
