So What Wednesday

So What Wednesday
Today I am linking up with Life After I Dew for So What Wednesday.

Today I am saying so what if….

  • I picked another 11 quarts of cherries (I picked 11 quarts last Friday) yesterday and will not even eat one of them.  I am not fan of sour cherries, and do not like cooked cherries in pies, tarts, cobbler, etc. S totally loves cherry smoothies so, I bet I go and pick more on Friday.
  • It is only 68° outside and we still have our air conditioner on and I am currently wearing warm fuzzy socks, and a sweatshirt to keep warm.  The humidity is too much for B so he wants the air on.  With the air on there is no humidity in the house so it makes it colder.
  • For the past few thunder and lightning storms we have let S play outside under the deck (lower deck on cement slab) with his sand.  He loves his new sand (Moon Sand) and always wants to play with it.  So as long as the wind is not blowing when it is raining we sit outside in the thunder and lightning and play away with the sand.  Not the safest thing to do I am sure, but at least S is having fun.
  • Monday night we were watching Family Guy as a family and I turned it off because of the language they were using, and I did not want S to repeat.  S threw the biggest fit and really wanted to watch Family Guy so we turned it back on.  So far he has not repeated any words they were saying so I think this one time we are in the clear.
  • I painted my toes Monday night and used the Julep nail polish for the first time and hated the way it covered my French manicure tips.  I had to take it off all of the polish off my toes on my left foot and repaint the tips, which caused me to stay up until after 2 am to fix all of it.  Not so sure I will be ordering Julep again.
  • S still has a binky and is 3 ½ years old.  It has been a work in progress to get him to get rid of it.  Bribery does not work with him, since he does not have any other comfort items.  We have him down to only using it at night, sometimes around the house, and in the car.  I have gradually worked down the around the house to only if he is laying on the couch, and the car only if he is going to fall asleep.  My goal is by the end of the summer no more binkies and I told him he can throw all of his binkies in the train cars.  We will stand above them on a bridge and he can throw them down into the train cars.  He likes the idea but is not ready to do it yet.

What are you saying ‘So What?’ to this week?

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
