I really don’t have anything dedicated to Sundays, so for December I am going to do a weekly recap of any of the holiday stuff we have done in the past week. I love the holiday season, and always try to cram as much as I can in the small amount of time we are given.
Week 1
- I got my Christmas cards done, addressed, and mailed.
- This week we managed to get all the decorations out on the trees. While you can’t see them at night they are really more for daytime decoration. S loves to hang them on the trees. This year we no longer had our Charlie Brown tree (it was finally time to cut it down this past fall). We did however make our other dead tree the new Charlie Brown tree. While it doesn’t look like a Charlie Brown tree, it is all we have. B got a large red bulb at Lowe’s to hang on our new adopted Charlie Brown tree.
- B and S hung up Christmas lights on the Charlie Brown tree and the bushes out front. P and I hung out inside where it was warm.
- Our elf, Chippy, made his appearance this week.
What a fun fun fun post. You are totally on the ball with the Christmas stuff. I’ve ordered and received most of the Christmas cards I need. I had to do multiple orders to use the coupons I had and I’m waiting for the last to come in. Our tree is also mostly done and so is my mantle. I need to fins some tall things for one side since I’m doing it different this year but those can come or I can keep looking for sales and do it different again next year. We shall see.
