Sawyer 42 Month Update

For those of you who may not know, I send out an update about S every three months to family and friends.  Instead of doing that I am going to post the update here for everyone to read along with the picture I get taken of him at the time.

S has been up to a lot in the past three months.  We spend a majority of the time outside these days since it has been so nice.  He loves to jump on the trampoline and is getting really good at it.  He also loves to be in the pool when it is warm enough.  S is all boy when it comes to toys.  He loves his trains, cars, and construction equipment.  Any girl toys or something that is pink or purple are for Frankie because she is a girl.

S took a scary trip to the ER for croup once again.  We were hoping he was past the age of getting croup, but I guess not yet.  He has had croup quite a few times before this trip to the ER.  He had it when he was one which was our first trip to the ER, and many times since we have just been able to catch it earlier and take him to the doctor’s office.  On a late Saturday afternoon the doctor’s office is not open and when S ask to go to a doctor because he can’t breathe you know it is time to take him to the hospital.  This was a week before our first family vacation and go figure at our follow-up doctor appointment he still had a touch of croup and had to go back on steroids for a few days.  He ended up being okay for vacation, but we worried the entire time.

We took S on his first family vacation just the three of us to Lake Michigan for a friend’s wedding.  He had so much fun swimming in the pool at the hotel; playing on the beach at the lake and visiting a Dutch Village where he was able to play on a kids peddle train.  The three of us had a great time and look forward to more family vacations.

S loves to ride his bike or race car all around on the driveway.  We got him a traffic light for good behavior (finally) and he loves to use it outside.  He really likes when I draw him a racetrack on the driveway for him to follow.  S is basically at the same weight he was 33 lbs and is now 33.5 lbs and is now 38 5/16” tall.   He grew 5/8” in the last three months so just over a half inch.  He is such a big boy.  Enjoy the pics and check back in 3 months for the next update.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
