PopSugar has a Sample Squad where you can sign up to try products for free. PopSugar Sample Squad releases new products and you have to sign up to try the products. I was lucky enough to be selected for the Burt’s Bees Sample.
- Burt’s Bees Lip Gloss-Spring Splendor 239 ($9)-This lip gloss was really nice. It went on smooth and had a nice scent to it. I appreciated the tinted color of the gloss and it just added a hint of color. It has the feel more of a lipstick versus a lip gloss.
- Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer-Peony ($5)-This is a great lip gloss. It gives a nice sheen and tint to the lip gloss. I liked the way this felt and how it moisturized my lips. The color wasn’t my favorite but was sheer enough that it can still work.
Overall I was pleasantly surprised by the Burt’s Bees lip products I received. I have never used Burt’s Bees before. I got some lip balm on clearance at Christmas for S to use nightly, and he has had great results. I liked the lip gloss and shimmer but will probably just stick with their lip balm.
