In the past year S has really started to like Legos.  He is all about creating new cars, buildings, and whatever his mind can come up with.  The easiest way to have him do builds and keep track of them is to use Lego plates.  Ideally a Lego table would be the best solution.  To find the time to glue down the plates when all I am looking for is fast and easy is not going to happen.  Until now…

I got 4 10”x10” Lego plates that have a peel and stick backing for fast installation and immediate use.  There are three options for your 4 pack: 4 green, 4 blue, or 2 blue and 2 green. I opted for the 2 blue and 2 green to have land and water.  I had B make me a top out of wood that was slightly larger than 20”x20”.  I wanted S to have room around the plates for Lego pieces as he was building.  The only thing I had to do was peel off the plastic on the back and stick them down on the wood.  I pre-traced the squares on the wood so I knew exactly where to place each and make sure they all fit together perfectly.  I love the outcome and S has enjoyed this new play space that is exclusively for Legos.  P loves it because Duplo Legos also work on these plates so they can play together.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
