When we first saw the Toy Story short “Partysaurus Rex” a few years ago on TV, S fell in love with it and we watched it all the time.   This Toy Story short became popular and they started creating toys for it.  S got Partysaurus Rex for Christmas and loved taking his baths.  It gave a whole new meaning to bath time for us.  S loved playing with the whole toy set.

Of course I had to add to the fun and we found rubber bouncy balls that when you bounce light up in fun colors.  We actually found them on vacation and played with them in the hotel pool.  After that when we got home we added to the Partysaurus Rex party.  S liked to take showers so when he would take a shower he used the bouncy ball to continue his party.  (Showers were in my bathroom and baths were in his bathroom.)

I got a new showerhead that has changed how we take baths and showers.  The showerhead changes colors according to how hot or cold the water is.  Now S has an opportunity to do “Partysaurus Rex” all over again, of course, he jumps at the opportunity.  The HotelSpa LED Hand Shower runs by water and no batteries are needed.   The showerhead not only has colors to tell you how hot or cold the water is there is also a digital read out to give you the exact temperature of the water.   The easiest way to tell is when it is blue-the water is cold, green-the water is warm and should be comfortable, red-the water is hot, and red blinking-the water is really hot and be careful.    There is also different showerhead settings rain and massaging showerhead.  S is only aware of how the showerhead changed colors.

S loves taking showers every night and ask if he can take them in the dark.  As long as he turns on a nightlight for additional light we let him take a shower in the dark.  He loves it.  I cannot believe how obsessed he is with making sure the light is always green.  One night he started yelling at us because the showerhead wasn’t working.  When B went in there were no lights on the showerhead.  The conclusion, S had the water so cold it wasn’t even registering to be in blue.  Oh S, when he realized that when the showerhead is dark it means the water is cold, he never did that again.  The only drawback is how loud the showerhead is because the motor runs on water and not batteries.  I love that I don’t have to worry about replacing batteries but no S can’t take a shower when P is sleeping.
