If anyone has ever had a little one and a diaper pail you know that they can get really stinky. It only gets worse as you introduce new foods to them. For whatever reason, the plastic from the pail seems to absorb the smell.

As air passes through, odor particles are trapped on the surfaces inside. When the bags seem to stop working put the bags out in the sun for an hour once a month to renew them. This could be my answer on how to eliminate or reduce the smell of dirty diapers in the pail.
I did not know about putting them out in the sun so the last bamboo charcoal bag could basically dry out. That is probably the reason our last charcoal bag stopped working in the bottom of the diaper pail. Now that I know when I start to smell the diaper pail again all I have to do is take the charcoal bag and put it in the sun, this is perfect. Since I got two in this pack I will simply switch them out and I do not have to go a minute without a bamboo charcoal bag in the bottom of the diaper pail.
