Manic Monday

Sami's Shenanigans

I am trying a new link-up,  with Sami’s Shenanigans so let me know if you are visiting from the link-up so I know if I should keep it up!

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week.  Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans.  This week so far looks like it is going to be a very slow week.  I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Monday-I have some appointments today so I will be going by myself while S stays home with B.  Ahh, some alone time!  The rest of the day we are just hanging out, or maybe tackle another room to clean.

Tuesday-Today we have Baby A, and it looks like it is going to be a nice day to play outside.

Wednesday-Baby A and I will take S to his storytime.  The rest of the day we will just hang out at home.

Thursday-I think I am going to venture out again and try to take Baby A and S to Target.  I am curious to know if last week was a fluke or if this is how it could be every week.  We are going to go to the farmer’s market for some Jonagold apples and apple cider.

Friday-So far no plans, I am sure something will come up.

Saturday-Since this is the first Saturday of the month, S and I will be going to Home Depot for a build. We are building a fire rescue plane and it says that we will also get a buildable mini Lego City Toy.  The rest of the day we will be hanging out at home with B until he leaves for work.

Sunday-S and I will hang out and wait for B to wake up.  We’ll spend a few hours with B before he leaves for work and then it is just S and me again.

Last Week Recap

I cannot remember what we did last Monday so I am guessing we just hung out at home all day.  Tuesday we had Baby A all day, rode our bikes to play with F (S’s cousin) at the park.  S had so much fun playing at the park.  This has really been the first time I was able to let him run around and not have to help him climb.  He could do everything by himself except for the monkey bars.  Those required a little help still.

After we got home I cooked and froze all the pears for S’s smoothies.  Wednesday we took Baby A outside with us and decorated the trees with Halloween lights.  S loves the lights and begged B to turn them on for us right away.  Thursday I was able to go to Target and get my weekly fix, and then we went to the farmer’s market later to get some pears.  Friday I got my haircut, and then when I came home I played outside with S blowing bubbles.  Later B, S and I went out on the boat since it was so nice out.

That night we went to the local high school football game to watch my niece, F, cheer during the game.  This was S’s first time watching a football game and believe it or not he really loved it.  He was clapping at the right times and everything.  I think his favorite part was the majorettes when they were twirling their batons.  Saturday we went to the Roche de Boeuf parade, and S took a much needed nap.

Sunday it rained so we spent most of the day cleaning up and organizing the basement.  We did not get it done, but it is pretty close.

Last Week

Monday-S and I have a few errands to run and then we are just hanging out at home.  I am hoping to get all the pears cooked and frozen for S’s smoothies.

Tuesday-Baby A will be here and we are just hanging out.

Wednesday-Baby A and I will take S to preschool storytime at the library.

Thursday-Baby A will be here and we are going to attempt a trip to Target just the three of us.  When B gets home we will go to the farmer’s market.

Friday-I am getting my hair cut in the morning and then I am not sure what we are going to do.

Saturday-Another town over, Waterville, is having their Roche de Boeuf festival, so we will be going to the parade, checking out all of the craft booths and going to the car show.

Sunday-So far it looks like a quiet day at home, but I am sure that will change.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
