Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
Monday-I am thinking I will make a run to Target because the dollar spot was 50% off, and the sign said it ended 9/8, so I am hoping it will go 70% today. There is really no rhyme or reason to the markdowns of the dollar spot and may just get salvaged. Only a trip to Target or checking Facebook will let me know if the dollar spot was marked down or salvaged. Not all of the dollar spot got marked down just the items with black stars. The rest of the day we will just be hanging out at home.
Tuesday-Watching Baby A, and Oh! It’s my birthday! I turn 33! As far as I know S and I will make a cake while Baby A watches and have cake after dinner.
Wednesday-Today we are watching Baby A and S starts storytime at the library. Eeek! This could be either exciting, easy, or a disaster. At least S will have a good time! I have not had to get a three year old and baby out of the house together so this should be interesting. I am hoping to S’s Halloween picks done today. He wants to be a construction worker. This is the month I get his fall picks done and today he is 45 months old or 3 and ¾ years old.
Thursday-Watching Baby A and if yesterday went good at the library, I am going to try and venture out with Baby A to Target. He hates the car seat carrier and the car in general. If I can’t get him to sit in his seat at Target it will be a lost cause. As always we will hit the farmer’s market to get some corn and pears. Maybe a few peaches if B wants another pie.
Friday-No plans as of yet.
Saturday-S and I will be going to Lowe’s to build a fire truck. S loves going to Lowe’s because his girlfriend is in charge of the Build ‘n’ Grow. I imagine we will be coming home and S will be driving his truck all over the yard.
Sunday-As of right now just a quiet day at home while B works. I am sure it will change.
Last Week Recap
Monday aka Labor Day we went over to B’s parents and watched B work at putting up the barn. S and I went home and swam in the backyard. For dinner, we went over to B’s cousins. We love to hang out with them and S loves to play with Logan. For a long time he didn’t want to play with Logan, but after our camping trip this summer he has come to think of him as a buddy.
Tuesday we tried to go and throw S’s binkies on a train car. It did not work, not one train. So on to the zoo we went. S loves to go to the zoo. I can’t tell if it is to ride the train or look at the animals.
Wednesday we watched Baby A and I think B forgot what it was like to have a baby in the house and went over to his parents the entire day. Thursday was much of the same. B slept in because he had to work, and when he got up he took S with him and went to his parents to work on the barn. It was a pretty easy day of just me and Baby A hanging out at home. I decided not to go to the farmer’s market and just have B and S go, while I made a trip to Target.
Target Shopping Trip
Friday we played outside and then S and I went to First Friday uptown. For those that don’t know, First Friday happens the first Friday of every summer month and they have crafts, music and other fun things for kids to do. Saturday S and I went to Home Depot and built his football ring toss. When we got home we played outside while B cut down all of the raspberry plants. That’s a whole other story that if you are interested in I wrote about on my Gardening page. S went swimming and had a blast, until it started to rain. He swam for a while as it sprinkled and then wanted out. So we went inside and made ton of crafts from our Carefree Subscriptions. We need to start decorating for fall and this just kick started it.
Sunday S and I played while B slept (he worked overnight), and then the two of them went to B’s parents to work on the barn. I stayed home to work on some posts for the blog and then am heading over there later. Tonight I think we are going to cook out with the neighbors.
Last Week
Monday-Seeing as how it is a holiday for some, we may be barbecuing outside with someone or by ourselves. Either way I am eating off the grill for dinner!
Tuesday-I plan on going to the zoo today or tomorrow. The weather looks like it is going to be nice and S has not been in quite a while.
Wednesday-If we didn’t go to the zoo yesterday, than we are going today and taking Baby A with us. So glad I have a sit ‘n’ stand stroller! If not we are just hanging around the house and playing outside.
Thursday-Another nice day of weather predicted so we will be outside most of the day and then make a trip to the farmer’s market in the afternoon. I will hopefully make a trip to Target at some point because today is Target Day!!!! Costco coupons start today and I need a few things that will be on sale so we could make a trip there.
Friday-Not sure of anything planned, just spending the day at home playing outside.
Saturday-No plans as of yet, but I am sure something will come up!
Sunday-Again, no plans as of yet, but something will happen, it always does!
