Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week.  Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans.  I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Monday-Today is my dad’s birthday and S is so excited.  Tonight we will head over to my parent’s house and celebrate my dad’s birthday.  During the day I am thinking we may go to my swimming since it is going to be hot and we will not be able to go the next couple of days, because we start watching Baby A.

Tuesday-Today we start watching Baby A, so I am sure our day is going to be hectic and busy.

Wednesday-Another day of watching Baby A, and it is B’s birthday!!!!!!  S and I will have to make a cake and figure out what we are going to give B for his birthday.  B if you are reading this, I have nothing for your birthday yet from S or me!

Thursday-Another day of watching Baby A, and  then the Farmer’s Market when B gets home.  I am not sure if I am going to venture out with two kids to Target or just go tomorrow when B is home.

Friday-I am betting I will be catching up on sleep because I had to get up the past three days at 6:30am.  B is off today so I am not sure what we are going to do.

Saturday-We are heading to my Uncle F’s for a Labor day get together.  S is so excited and I think B is, too.  B is taking his four-wheeler and S is taking his F-150 Power Wheels truck.  Oh, the boys are going to have fun playing.

Sunday-I am not sure what we are going to do today.  I am sure we will do something, but as of right now there are no plans.

Last Week Recap

It was a busy week.  I am so glad S is still little and I do not have to get him ready for school to start.  We never would have been able to do everything if we were preparing for school.  Monday we did take B and his co-worker so they could go canoeing down the Maumee river.  They went 16 miles and figured they had to walk and carry the canoe about 3 miles of it.  What B thought would take them 4 hours took just over 7 hours.  I am so glad I was not the one that went on the canoe trip with him.

S and I played at home with F (S’s cousin).  They went swimming, jumped on the trampoline and drove around in the truck outside.  Safe to say all that playing and they both gobbled up there food.  S and F were both so tired, and F fell asleep in S’s bedroom with him.  They loved sleeping in the same room.  S was so sad when he woke up Tuesday and F was not there.

Tuesday S decided this was going to be the day he was going to throw all of his binkies into a train car.  Go figure the entire time we waited for trains, we only saw two and they were cargo trains.  So we took the binkies back home and were going to try another day.

Wednesday we played at home, and S did more driving around in his truck, either pulling Derby in the trailer or one of the boys sat in the back of the truck.

Thursday we played at home, and then went to the Farmer’s Market before B had to go to work.  S convinced B to get him ice cream (Fro-Yo), so we got some before B went to work.  Friday I went to Target and then we hung out at home the rest of the day.

Saturday we went to MIS to watch my brother race his car, went to the cottage my grandparents built so B could check out the inside.  The owner was meeting us there to show us the inside.  We went to Vineyard Lake and put the boat in.  We rode around for a while, swam, and then headed home.  When we got home S wanted to drive his truck so I had him drive around the fence to help me pick green beans.  B and I decided to pick the garden so he could make chili sauce on Sunday.  I called in recruits and had our neighbors come over and help us pick.  It made it go much faster but we still picked until it got dark out.

Sunday we hung out at home while B made chili sauce.  B and S went to Lowe’s to make one of the planes from Planes.  Since the afternoon was so hot we ended up playing inside the rest of the day.  I made peach pie, cooked green beans to make into ice cubes and cooked peaches for more ice cubes.

Last Week

Monday-B is going on a canoe trip down the Maumee River from Grand Rapids to Perrysburg.  I convinced one of his co-workers to take the canoe trip with him so I did not have too.  If they make it down the river with no problems then I will try it next time.  S and I will take B and his friend to Grand Rapids and then head home to play until we get the phone call to pick them up.  S is so excited because in the afternoon F (S’s cousin) is coming over to play.  S was just listing all the things they were going to do: go swimming, jump on the trampoline, drive the truck, ride scooters, ride bikes, play trains, make snow cones, and more.

Tuesday-S has library books due so we will make a trip to the library.  Who knows what else we will do?

Wednesday-Looks like a quiet day at home.

Thursday-Today is Target day and then later we will go to the farmer’s market for some peaches and hopefully pears.

Friday-B is off, so who knows what we will do.

Saturday-My brother is racing up at MIS so we will be heading up early to watch him race for part of the day.  I plan on stopping at the grandma and grandpa built to show S.  Last year I got a picture of him on the beach and plan on doing it again.

Sunday-Today we are just hanging out at home, maybe we will go out on the boat.  Who knows?

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
