Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week.  Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans.  I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Monday-I think we will spend most of the day recovering from our camping trip.

Tuesday-Since we no longer have storytime at the library (it ended for the summer and they are taking the month of August off), we may try to hit the Playdate at the Disney store.  S only has to go one more time before he gets a keychain.

Wednesday-Looks like it will be a quiet day at home, so far anyways.

Thursday-Today should be the big clearance toy event!!!!! S and I will be up bright and early to go and check out all of the stores.  Derby is getting groomed today, he needs it so bad.  Later after B gets home we will head up to the farmer’s market where I know for sure we will be buying a bunch of peaches to freeze for smoothies.

Friday-B wants to take S to the county fair to check out all of the animals. I will probably stay home and work on my niece’s birthday cake for tomorrow.  She is having a camping theme birthday, so I have to create a camp scene on top of a cake.   Tonight B and I are going to see Trace Adkins in concert.

Saturday-I will do any finishing touches necessary for F’s birthday cake and then off to her birthday party we will go.

Sunday-There is a combine demolition derby tonight at the county fair we may go to, stay home all day and hang out or possibly take the boat out depending on the weather.

Last Week Recap

Monday we ended up going out on the boat to make sure it was running good, and it ran great.  So we called my parents to see if they wanted to come down and meet us at the dock to go for another ride.  S loved everyone riding on the boat with him while he drove us all around.  Tuesday morning I ran out really early to see if summer clearance had went 90% and it did not.  So I took a few minutes to peruse around and see where hidden summer clearance was and what toys were left for the potential toy markdown on Thursday.  I got home by 9am and took S to storytime.  We went swimming over at my mom’s in the afternoon and then S fell asleep on the way home and slept till 8pm.  Wednesday S and I got up early and went to all four Targets’ to hunt for 90% summer clearance.  Considering at every store there was hardly any clearance in the summer area and I had to hunt the entire store to find the goods, I would say I did pretty well.    Then we took all three animals to the vets for there yearly check-ups.  Thursday S and I went to Target again in the morning to see if the toys got marked down for the big toy clearance event.  They did not go so we headed home and started getting ready for our camping trip.  Later we went to the farmer’s market and got apricots to freeze for S’s smoothies.  So we cooked and froze apricot and summer squash for smoothies, and then shredded zucchini and made zucchini bread muffins to take camping.  Friday we packed up for camping and then went camping.  So not excited!  Camping all weekend, and came home Sunday afternoon.  I will give a recap on camping during Foto Friday!

Monday-It looks like this is the only day the S and I will be home hanging out.  B has tons to do on his day off so he will be in and out all day.

Tuesday-I may make a trip to Target to see if summer clearance went 90%, then S has storytime.

Wednesday-If summer clearance did not go 90% yesterday then I will be heading their first thing this morning.  All three pets have a vet appointment in the afternoon for their yearly check-ups.  I can only imagine how much weight Derby has gained and what is Neezer’s blood sugar level going to be.  Will it even register?

Thursday-Today is Target day and then a trip to the Farmer’s market.  I will be packing for our camping trip this weekend.  At least we are staying in a camper and not tents.

Friday-I will be getting everything ready for the camping trip while B is sleeping. My goal is to keep S awake all day so he will sleep in the car the whole way there.

Saturday-Camping

Sunday-Camping and then coming home and cleaning up from camping.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
