Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week.  Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans.  I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

  • Monday-It looks like this is the only day the S and I will be home hanging out.  B has tons to do on his day off so he will be in and out all day.
  • Tuesday-I may make a trip to Target to see if summer clearance went 90%, then S has storytime.
  • Wednesday-If summer clearance did not go 90% yesterday then I will be heading their first thing this morning.  All three pets have a vet appointment in the afternoon for their yearly check-ups.  I can only imagine how much weight Derby has gained and what is Neezer’s blood sugar level going to be.  Will it even register?
  • Thursday-Today is Target day  looking for the great clearance event in July and then a trip to the Farmer’s market.  I will be packing for our camping trip this weekend.  At least we are staying in a camper and not tents.
  • Friday-I will be getting everything ready for the camping trip while B is sleeping. My goal is to keep S awake all day so he will sleep in the car the whole way there.
  • Saturday-Camping
  • Sunday-Camping and then coming home and cleaning up from camping.

Last Week Recap

This past week a lot of things happened most of them unexpected.  Monday we ended up deciding at the last minute to go to the Disney store for playdate time and it was Monster University.   S learned to scare like a monster.  At first he liked it and toward the end he was done with it and didn’t want to participate, but boy did he love getting his college id and picking out the monster that he thought looked like him.  F (S’s cousin) came over to play and swam with S for a long time.  Tuesday we went to storytime and came home.  I ran to Target to see if the summer clearance had gone 50% yet, and the rest of the day we played with B since he was off work.  Wednesday we watched F and took her and S to Disney Store Playdate for storytime.  Thursday I made a quick trip to Target and got ready for my House Party.  Thursday night we made cards and ate chicken that B cooked for us.  Friday we went out to B’s cousins and S swam for hours in their pond with PJ and Derby.  Unfortunately, my grandma pasted away on Thursday so Saturday we had the showing and Sunday was the funeral.  I did make a run to Target Saturday morning and we rewarded S’s good behavior at the showing on Saturday with some Froyo.  Sunday morning I ran to Target and got some great deals, and then took S and B to Kohl’s to get them bottoms, S shorts and B pants for the funeral.

  • Monday-As of now there is nothing planned.  I got S a bunch of clothes at Kohl’s this past weekend (I will be posting that purchase hopefully today), but one of the shorts was the wrong size so I have to go and try to exchange it.
  • Tuesday-S has storytime in the morning and then if we remember there is also a craft project at Bass Pro Shop.
  • Wednesday-Today looks like there is nothing going on, but with the heat we may end up at my mom’s swimming.
  • Thursday-Today is Target day, and I am having my first House Party for Stampin’ Up by Paper Pumpkin.  I also was selected for Mom’s Ambassador to host a chicken party.  B has said he will cook the chicken and I am going to use it for appetizer snacks at the House Party.
  • Friday-No plans for today
  • Saturday-Again, no plans for today.
  • Sunday-No plans again.

There are quite a few day this week that looks like they will be quiet days at home.  Things always seem to come up, so I am sure plans will change for the week.  Who knows with the predicting of the hot weather if I will leave the house at all this week.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
