Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Weekly Goal-I would love to get out the next size of clothes for the kids and have them organized so I know what I need to buy for next summer. (Yes I plan that far in advance!)

Monday-Not a whole lot planned for today. S has school and P and I will just be hanging out at home.

Tuesday-Another day of hanging out at home.

Wednesday-Again another day of being home.

Thursday-We are hanging out at home all day. We have a 1st Grader Parent’s Meeting in the evening.

Friday-B is off so I have no idea what we will do.   As of now we don’t have any plans.

Saturday-There is a build at Home Depot in the morning to build a dry erase board. I am hoping B takes S and P. We were taking S to this stuff when he was P’s age and I am sure she would love to bang that hammer! The rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.

Sunday-Just another day of being at home.

Last Week Recap

I accomplished my goal for last week and completed the Architectural Scavenger Hunt. This is the first time in five years of doing it that I was able to find them all.

Monday I did end up walking for about an hour and half working on the scavenger hunt. I ended up cutting it short when P and I saw a squirrel carrying a nut and followed it 3 ½ blocks before it buried the nut. P really liked following the squirrel. She kept laughing at it and telling it to ‘Come Here.’ The rest of the day we hung out at home.

Tuesday after S got on the bus P and I went to my dad’s and walked with him for about 2 ½ hours looking or houses on the scavenger hunt. We did pretty good and found 23 out of 54. P got restless for the last 45 minutes so it was a struggle to keep her happy. We spent the rest of the day at home and made cookie dough.

Wednesday I decided that P and I were going to ride bikes to the library for Little Chef. She was super excited about going for a bike ride and could not wait for S to get on the bus. P had a great time at Little Chef. She got to play with some friends she made at the pool this summer. When it came time to ride bikes home, P threw a fit and refused to get on the bike. I finally convinced/forced her to get on the bike because I said we were going to stop and see Papa. That made her happy and we did ride to Papa’s. He was leaving on his bike for a ride so we rode together for a few blocks before we went our separate ways. P was sad when we left Papa. It was naptime and I could not wait to get home and get her ready for naptime. The rest of the day we hung out at home and worked on making more cookie doughs.  We did have a Tornado Warning at night but nothing ever came of it.  It was almost a pre warning that they were in the area but they never got close to us.  The clouds were rotating but it was a huge rotation and not a tornado.

Thursday we put S on the bus and went walking with my dad to work on the architectural scavenger hunt. We walked for just over 3 hours but we found all of them. P did awesome the entire walk. She never once complained or fussed. After all that walking and it was so muggy/humid out when we got home I jumped in the pool with my clothes on. P came along and enjoyed the quick dip before it was time for her to take a nap. We worked on pumpkin cookies after S got home from school and I decorated the sugar cookies after the kids went to bed.

Friday after S got on the bus while B slept P and I rode bikes to the library to return a few books. When B got up we worked on cleaning the house for about 3 hours. I washed the floor with my new Panda Spin Mop and Bucket system. We never really wash our floors so they really needed it especially with all the food P throws on the ground. After P went down for her nap I started mopping. It was a little messy with some excess water but we now have clean floors! It was so easy I could see myself potentially doing this more often. In the afternoon we went over to my dad’s to drop off his birthday present (6 different types of cookies, 10 each because he turned 60). When we got to his house my other sister had stopped by so S got to play with F. We decided to go swimming since it was hot out. They had so much fun playing together and getting to swim. P surprised me with how well she was swimming around the pool in her life jacket. She was even jumping off the ladder! We went home and got ready to go out to eat for my dad’s birthday. It was a later dinner so I prefed P so she would be manageable. She did great with the wait and not getting to eat till well after 7. I’m not sure of the time. It was a busy day with tons of stuff packed into it.  #PandaSpinMop63R

Saturday we ran to Costco in the morning and then B took S to a Lego build at Toys R Us. The rest of the day we just spent at home. B worked on fixing the trailer for the boat.

Sunday was B’s birthday. Believe it or not we didn’t do anything. I did not get him anything or even have the kids make him a card. I am totally slacking. I usually make him a cake but since he still had so many pumpkin cookies left over I didn’t feel the need to make a cake. Before dinner we ran to Target because they were having an awesome deal on Xbox 360 Consoles.   I bit the bullet and bought S an Xbox. It was 50% off with the Target Cartwheel and an additional 10% off the original price (the whole store was 10% off). It ended up being $85 with tax. I am not sure if he is going to get this for his birthday or Christmas. We did sing Happy Birthday to B before S and P went to bed.

Last Week

Weekly Goals-To find as many of the pictures on the Architectural Scavenger Hunt this week.

Monday-S has school and I may go walking to start the Architectural Scavenger Hunt. The rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.

Tuesday-I am going walking with my dad in the morning after S gets on the bus. We are going to work on the Architectural Scavenger Hunt.

Wednesday-S has school and I signed up P for a Little Chef class at the library. She is going to be playing with food and I am so glad I do not have to clean up after the class is over of 18 mos-36 mos old toddlers. I have no idea how she is going to do but she loves to bake so I hope she loves it.

Thursday-S has school. Depending on how hot it is P and I may go walking to work on the Architectural Scavenger Hunt that the Perrysburg Historical Society does. I love doing it. They take pictures around the city of Perrysburg within certain street boundaries they set and you have to try to find them.

Friday-Today is my dad’s 60th birthday. We are going out to eat to celebrate. P, S and I have been working on his birthday present all day.

Saturday-As of now we are just hanging out at home.

Sunday-Today is B’s 39th birthday! Next year will be the big 4-0! As of right now we don’t have any plans for the day but that can change at any time.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
