I have really started to enjoy getting this subscription and look forward to every month.  I got this a few weeks ago, but have been slacking on writing reviews.

December "Celebration" Glam Bag

December “Celebration” Glam Bag

This is what my package looked like when I opened my mailbox.  It came in a pretty pink bubble wrap package.

When I opened the package it was a black make-up bag.  It came with this postcard titling this month as “Celebration.”  The postcard contained the companies who contributed to this month and discounts available.

Nicka K Nail Polish-NY112 Classic Taupe ($4.99)-I was excited to see nail polish in my bag, but when I saw the color it left a lot to be desired for.  The best way to describe the color is mud.  It could be a brown, gray, or purple depending on how it hits the light.

J.Cats Beauty The Big Lip Pencil-Crayon Rouge ($3.99)-I really like using lip crayons.  It is a great cross between lip stick, lip liner and lip gloss.  This color is a little bright for me but I like it.  I never would have discovered lip crayons without subscription boxes.

Be a Bombshell The One Stick-Girl Crush ($16)-The One Stick can be used for lipstick, blush, and eyeshadow.  I don’t really go for the One Stick.  There is no way I could put blush on with a stick.  I think I would have to use a brush to apply it.  I think it would feel week to use the stick also for eyeshadow, so again I would have to use a brush.  The color is described as a pearlescent light pink which is way to pink for me.  I need more of a peachy tone for my skin.

Pop Beauty Bright Up Your Life-Naturally Bare ($7.20)-This comes with three different shades of eyeshadow. It has brown tones to it and is for a natural look.  I saw that some got the gray tones and was really hoping that I would be getting those colors.  Unfortunately, I got the brown tones so I will be giving this to one of my sisters.

Signature by English Laundry (Samples)-When I opened the pretty pink package I could smell that I had gotten perfume.  Unfortunately if you look at the little bottles you can see that both of them leaked in the bag.  Either way I did not care for the scents and since both bottles were leaking I had to throw them out.

Make-up bag ($3)-I liked this bag this month.  It is black on the outside and has a nice deep red lining on the inside.  It really smelled like the perfume but after airing out for a few weeks the smell has gone away and I plan on using this for something.

All in all the total of this ipsy bag of cosmetics comes to $32.18 (not including the make-up bag).  With this bag of makeup only costing $10, I would say it is totally worth it, I did not get many things I want to keep for myself, however my sisters will definitely enjoy them.  The lip pencil pays for the bag for itself.   I am going to continue to get ipsy and see what next month brings.  If you are interested in subscribing to ipsy, click here, and help me get a bonus gift next month.
