I am always on the lookout for cute gifts for my nieces, nephews, and little cousins.  Jewelry seems to be the perfect gift for young girls who are 8-11 years old.  The girls always like to get bling and usually charms of insects: butterflies, ladybugs, dragonflies, etc.  I came across this butterfly necklace that has a different colored stone for each section of the wings.  This is the perfect gift for B’s little cousin.  She always loves to get jewelry.  While earrings can be iffy because sometimes when the girls are so young earring holes happen to close up.  Necklaces are always a winner.

The Cubic Zirconia Butterfly Necklace has multi-colored cubic zirconia crystals in a white gold plated setting.  It comes with a 17” chain which is just the right length for a child.  The necklace is allergy free and safe for children to wear (nickel and lead free).  So no worries about it turning the child’s neck color or break out in rash.  The selling point of this particular necklace was the really cute gift box that the necklace comes in.  It is a pink and purple velour butterfly shaped box.  Because the box was so cute I didn’t even feel the need to gift wrap the box before I gave it as a gift.
