Foto Friday

Foto (Photo) Friday is my show and tell of pictures of the last week.  You can see by the pictures that our weather this week has been crazy.  We went from long-sleeve to short-sleeve to winter coat to long-sleeve to short-sleeve and pants rolled up (Yup those are man capris.  I love the pants that can be rolled up and buttoned to make them into capris.  They work great for S playing outside and falling down.  It saves his knees from many disasters

  • B signed S up for a program called “Squirmy Wormy”  at a local nature preserve.  It was to learn all about worms, how they live, eat, etc.  I do not like snakes and these worms were a little too big for me.  S liked everything about the program but refused to touch the worm.  He likes to look at them but never touch them.
  • You can’t see it, but B is mowing the lawn, and when S and I came home from a bike ride to the library he got off the bike so fast to go and get his lawn mower.  S loves to mow the lawn with B.  He follows B around pushing his mower just like his daddy, and yes he has to wear sunglasses like daddy.
  • S was digging through his toys in the garage and came up with the two net racquets and found a ball so we could play like ‘the boyz.’  ‘The boyz’ are the neighbor boys across the street that S idolizes and the boys love to play with him.  He said I wanna play like the boyz (he means La Crosse).  So we threw the ball back and forth catching the ball in the net.

  • S had his first Peep marshmallow.  It was a pink chick he got for Valentine’s Day from his grandma.  Of course, S asked daddy for it because he knew for sure he could have it that way, and he was right.  He liked the Peep, but boy did he run around like crazy for a few hours after that.
  • S finally got to take his new bike he got for Christmas outside to ride it.  He has been riding it in the house for four months now and it was time to let him go wild outside.  He was riding around so fast all over the driveway it was crazy.  He did have his first wipe out but thankfully he landed on the grass.  Out of pure luck I got it on video to preserve for years to come.
  • I was inside and happen to look out and see B and S working on spreading mulch out around the new blueberry bushes.   It was so cute to see them working together and if you look behind B you can see S had his little wheel barrel out there too.

I saw S spreading the mulch! so cute! You know “The Boyz” and I love the lacrosse picture… Tanner is going to have to start giving him lessons soon.

He keeps calling the boys his sisters. I tried to explain but now they are his cousins.

The photo of S and B at Squirmy Wormy was precious. Enjoying them all. Love seeing S helping his Daddy in all the projects and chores!

My prior post says “Your comment is awaiting moderation”. What does that mean? Is it too long or something? Just curious 🙂

No it your comment wasn’t to long. It says ‘Your comment is awaiting moderation’ because I approve all of the comments before they are posted to weed out all of the spam. You would not believe how much spam I get.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
