Foto Friday

Foto (Photo) Friday is a show and tell of pics from the past week.  We have had a busy few days and I am not just getting a chance to sit down and do my Foto Friday.

  • We got family pictures last Monday night.  P loved her new dress coat when I showed it to her.  I bought this when she was only 9 months old.  I loved it so much then that I knew I had to get it when it was 70% off.
  • As a reward for being good during pictures we took the kids out to eat dinner at Red Robin.  They ate more apple slices then they did French fries.  It has been ages since we ate at Red Robin’s.

  • Once P learned how to climb out of her crib last Saturday we knew it was time for her to go to a big girl bed.  She loves the new “toddler bed” that we transitioned the crib from.  Unfortunately now she is refusing naps and boy does she still need them.  She starts asking at 4pm if we can get showers and go to bed.  If she is in the car for longer than a 5 minute car ride she falls asleep.
  • We saw Santa last week.  P was so excited to see him and couldn’t stop talking about him.  Even when we got there she was pointing him out to me.  When it came time to sit on his lap she hid behind my legs and wouldn’t talk to him.  She did eventually tell him what she wanted after she got off his lap and was 10 ft. away from him.

  • P, S, and I went with my sister and niece to go see Coco last Wednesday.  Really we went so P could see the new Frozen Olaf Adventure.  I thought it was going to be a short like the others Pixar makes and be 5-7 minutes.  I was totally wrong it was 22 minutes.  P loved it and could not stop talking about it for the rest of the day.  S really liked Coco.  It was cute but a bit slow in the middle.
  • Wednesday night was pie time.  When I roll out crust P and S always want to roll there own crust out.  They eat the raw dough when they are done (which I think is disgusting), but it keeps them busy.

  • P and S had fun sitting at the “kids” table with there cousins.  Although they did not eat a traditional Thanksgiving dinner (they ate a PB&J sandwich and a bagel with cream cheese), they still had fun.
  • Friday we went to my brother’s and hung out for the evening.  I love getting to spend time with his family and my kid’s love it.  They talked the whole way there about them and then on the way home.  P loves to get her family book and show me all of there pictures.  S loves to go see his cousin who he can talk Minecraft with.  P had so much fun playing with her cousin (who is 18) and playing a dance game on the Wii.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
