I am definitely not the gardener in our family.  In fact, if it has anything to do with work outside it is all B.  The only work I like outside is playing in the pool.  Seriously.

When given the opportunity to review the Ezy Pruners Ratchet Pruning Shears I asked B if this is something that he would be interested in and he happily replied, “Yes.”  I wasn’t sure what to think about these when we got them.  They were actually pretty heavy, which I took as a good sign that they were good quality.

B was very pleased with these when he opened them up.  In fact we were waiting for S to get off the bus one day and he decided to get the shears out and see how well they worked on trimming branches off the trees.  I didn’t necessarily think these were meant for trimming off thick branches but they are.

Normally when you try to cut a branch with shears you have to keep cutting and cutting.  Sometimes the shears will bend weird and then don’t work.  These shears are totally different.  They ratchet so you don’t have to start at the beginning each time.  When you ratchet it keeps the shears in the same spot and just tightens them to finally cut through the thick branches.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
