I have always used an alarm clock to wake up in the morning since I was in seventh grade. When I decided to stay at home with S six plus years ago he became my alarm clock. Sure I set an alarm on my phone if I needed to get up early but most days I don’t get up till the kids do. I have been using my cellphone as my alarm for about the five past years when needed because my alarm clock finally died on me and I didn’t see a need to replace it.
Now that I have to make sure we get up every day for S to go to school I need an alarm clock. I am very good at turning off alarms when I am still sleeping. I have done that many times in the past and still do it to my cell phone. With a dual alarm clock I would be able to set two alarms and hope that if the first alarm did not wake me up the second would. So I went ahead and got a new alarm clock. I really like the DreamSky Dual Alarms Clock Radio because the alarm is loud but not too loud where it scares me or wakes up P in her bedroom (that was a big deal to me I didn’t want it to wake P up.) I love the large digital display on the front of the clock. I haven’t had a digital clock that I could see without looking over B since I tossed my old alarm clock. I usually had to hit my phone in the dark to see the time, and now I no longer will be doing that.
