The guard on the pruners is actually quite ingenious. As you open and close the pruners the guard rotates to cover your fingers. The pruners were nice and sharp and B had no problems trimming the buses. B is left handed and usually has to either cut items at a weird angle or use his right hand. With these somehow it worked out that he could cut with his left hand and have it straight.
