S loves to fly themed flags off of our deck in the backyard.  I always loved having them out and then we went for years and never put one out.  S found them one day and asked B to hang one up.  Every day he would go out on the deck to check and make sure the flag was still there.

We don’t have any windsocks and thought this would be a great opportunity to try a windsock.  S loved to watch it blow in the wind.  It felt like it was mesmerizing him.  I would watch him just stare at it blow in the wind.  He kept saying it looked like a kite that was tied down.  I guess it does in a way.

Since we weren’t flying an American flag, S asked if this could be our flag for a while.  Yeah I guess it can be.  It has withstood the high winds, rain, sun, and now snow that we have gotten in the last month.  The windsock has not shown any wear and still brand-new just hanging there.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
